These advances in technology, however, keep moving the bar, separating the generations between early-adopters and followers. It is also a new point of concern for parents as they must now tackle another device to unlock its secrets and their children’s activities. Digging into message history and the cell phone’s cached memory will become the new battle line. Rather than relying on their monthly statement to find out what’s been going on, they must now learn to navigate small screens, tiny buttons and hidden menus.
Will the increasing capabilities of cell phones soon make home computers and laptops redundant? Who’s to say, but as technologies adapt to change so do the next generation of users.
